Meso Accessibility
Last updated 11 July 2026. Meso is built to be usable with iOS assistive technology. This page lists what the app supports today, what it does not yet support, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.
Supported
You can complete Meso's core tasks (onboarding, building and running a training block, logging sets, and changing settings) using:
- VoiceOver. Screens, controls, and set-entry fields are labelled for the screen reader. To scroll a screen, swipe with three fingers; to move through items one at a time, swipe left or right with one finger.
- Voice Control. Say "Show names" to see each control's label, or "Show numbers" to tap by number, then dictate your weights and reps into the highlighted field.
- Dark interface. Meso follows your system appearance and has a full dark theme.
- Reduced motion. Meso honours the system Reduce Motion setting, and has its own toggle in Settings, to calm animations.
- Sufficient contrast. Text and key controls are designed to stay legible against their backgrounds.
- Differentiate without colour alone. Status and key information use text and shape, not colour on its own, so the app is usable without relying on colour.
Not yet supported
- Larger Text (Dynamic Type). Meso does not yet scale with the system text-size setting. This is planned. In the meantime, iOS Zoom (Settings, Accessibility, Zoom) can magnify any screen.
- Captions and audio descriptions. Not applicable: Meso has no in-app video or audio content. Technique videos open in your browser, where the original source provides its own captions.
Reporting a problem
If any part of Meso does not work with the assistive technology you use, please tell us and we will fix it. Email support@mesohypertrophy.com with the feature you were using and what went wrong, and we will follow up.
